Following up on my Newe Year's Resolution

Okay. I resolved to start off the New Year by writing Uncanny, the third book in my Underworld Series for E.P. Because ot the originall New Year's Resolution in 2009, I've been busy catching up on writing the first book in every series I'd conceived that I thought was still viable, so I sort of neglected the series that already did have the first done--in this case, the first two. Uncanny is coming along nicely, should have it ready to send in by the end of February. It's the story of a young woman who was exposed as a baby on Wolfen Ridge for the beasts to eat, but was picked up by a midwife and substituted for the dead baby she'd delivered earlier that night. But babies weren't left on the Ridge unless they were abnormal in some way. Zyla may have been rescued, but sooner or later...
The Underworld is connected by gates to other worlds and a human may fall through one of these gates from Earth and discover that, because of red hair and green eyes, she's slated for death--like in Unwanted, the second story.
Or a princess slated to marry an older king may fall through and never be the same agian--like in Unwise, my first story.
Uncanny is totally different from either because Zyla really is uncanny.
Th next book planned is Unearthly where a denizen of the Underworld, falls through a gate onto Earth. It's great fun writing these stories and I'm so happy Kim's given me the chance. Jane
